Toyota Land Cruiser

The Land Cruiser has been a resolute of the Toyota range for a remarkable 70 years, while the biggest of them all, the 300 series, has evolved into a luxurious vehicle that also happens to be ridiculously capable off-road. It comes with a powerful 271 HP engine. Transmission Type is Automatic with 6-speed gearbox and its All Wheel Drive. It is one of the most famous SUVs in Bangladesh due to its luxurious driving experience, abundant availability and last but not the least the fact that it’s a Toyota.

 

Ford Ranger 

The first Ford Ranger was produced all the way back in 1965, but realistically speaking you don’t want a truck or any vehicle that old. The Ranger has remained one of Ford’s most popular models of trucks all over the world because of its combination of power, reliability and good gas mileage for its type. It comes with a 2.3-liter engine that can create 155 horsepower. This is not quite as powerful as some other similar trucks, but it has a good engine for what you will pay for it. Even though the older variants are a bit more popular in Bangladesh due to its reasonable pricing, you can now see the newer, shinier ones on Dhaka roads these days.

 

Land Rover Defender 

The Land Rover Defender is a series of British off-road SUVs and pick-up trucks. The newer version comes with a powerful 2.0-liter Turbo Inline-4 Gas engine. Transmission Type is Automatic with 8-Speed gearbox and its Four-Wheel Drive. A popular choice for adventure seekers, this vehicle comes with a 106 liter capacity and excellent brakes. Land Rover Defender 90 is a new SUV in Bangladesh. It runs with Gasoline giving a in city mileage of around 18 kmpl  and a highway mileage of around 20. Although not the most popular SUV in Dhaka streets it’s always a treat for the eye when you see one.

 

 

BMW X7 

The BMW X7 is the largest BMW available in Bangladesh. It is a full-size luxury SUV, with a  8-speed automatic transmission, the largest cargo space, spacious head-room, leg-room and grand exterior dimensions. It comes with a powerful 3000 cc engine that can produce 335.2bhp at 4400 rpm and a  maximum power of 760 Nm at 3000. Luxury exceeds the cabin of the BMW X7, the standard two-axle air suspension provides incredible driving comfort, while the adjustable height allows for easier entry and loading.

Nissan Navara

Nissan has been making the Navara since 1997. This truck is a great option for the occasional off-roading or a good vehicle for bumpy gravel roads that are abundant in Bangladesh. The Navara comes with different transmissions: a 5-speed manual, a 4-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. You can choose from a four-wheel drive and a rear-wheel drive model. In terms of the engine, the basic one in the Navara is the 4-liter, V-6. It can churn out around 260 horsepower. This is a popular truck among utility companies that often need to go to remote locations to perform service calls.

 

Range Rover Sport 

The Range Rover Sport is a luxury SUV that is the smaller sibling to the all-out Range Rover. The latest model’s have gotten an electric makeover. All of the inline-6 engines feature some kind of electric boost, offering a plug-in hybrid setup with an estimated 77 kilometer of all-electric range. The Range Rover Sport is also well equipped on the safety front, with automatic emergency braking, a surround-view camera system, front and rear parking sensors, active lane control, and traffic sign recognition. Recently the demand for Range Rovers have gone up due to its competitive pricing and thanks to the fact that Bangladeshi people’s dependency on toyotas are decreasing.
