The TVS Raider, despite being a mere 125 commuter bike, has managed to make itself stand out quite high among bikers of the Indian subcontinent ever since its initial launch in India last year. The primary reason being the Raider’s specifications.

TVS is one of those bike manufacturers which is popular among the local bikers known for its raw performance and the features at affordable prices. On paper, the TVS Raider is no different at all. Powered by a rather interesting 3 valve 125cc single cylinder carburetor engine which is both oil cooled and air cooled, the Raider 125 is able to produce an astonishing 12.7Bhp at 8000 revs per minute and a maximum torque of 11.5 Nm at 6500rpm. Despite there being other 125cc sports bikes with even higher power figures, the on paper specification of the Raider is still commendable for a 125cc commuter. Hence, when the Raider 125 got released in the neighboring country India, bikers in Bangladesh started to eagerly wait for the Raider 125 as well.

Getting past the engine, one of the main reasons behind Raider’s surprisingly high cult following that it attained in such a short time is for its way too aggressive styling. Being offered in some of the flashiest color options such as yellow, red, violet along with the basic black, the body panels of each Raider comes in with a total of 3 different shades all throughout. gets striking styling bits all around, many of which are segment firsts among official bike sellers in Bangladesh such as the dual split seat, the 4V inspired front headlight with X shaped daytime running light (DRL) and the lower body kit which will match the color of the tank cover. Other notable features include, USB charging, scooter-like under seat storage, synchronized braking technology (SBT) and a reverse LCD Display with riding modes and TVS’s X-Connect.

It has been a while that the commuter segment of bikes in Bangladesh have witnessed such an interesting bike like the TVS Raider 125. Expected to be the successor to the TVS stryker 125, the TVS Raider has been decided to be priced and sold at Tk 1,44,900 BDT and is now officially available at any TVS’s dealership all throughout the country.
