The current automobile market of Bangladesh consists of an ever growing list of crossovers and SUVs options to choose. With tens of different automobile manufacturers from all around the world having at least a single model in the crossover segment, the number of different options car buyers of the country now have is actually higher than ever before. To add to this escalating list of crossovers, Haval officially launched the H6 1.5 Turbo in Bangladesh.
Haval, operating in Bangladesh for several years now, has received a rather positive response from the car buyers of the country. This generation of the H6 has been available in Bangladesh all the way since 2020. However, the catch was that the H6 only came with a larger 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine which made many buyers fleeing away from the H6 given the 2x AIT which has to be paid for its larger displacement engine. Besides, the 2.0 liter H6 is also priced relatively higher due to greater import duty that needs to be paid for a 2.0 liter car. But finally on 11th December 2021, Ace Autos, the official distributor of Haval in Bangladesh, introduced the 2021 H6 1.5 Turbo in Bangladesh via an in person soft launching event held at the dealership’s only official Gulshan-Tejgaon Link Road showroom in Dhaka.
As the name suggests, the newly launched Haval H6 comes with a 1.5 liter turbocharged engine paired to a 7 speed dual clutch transmission (DCT). Parked beside the 2.0 liter H6, the newly launched one might just look a tad bit smaller due to a step down in rim size as it comes with 18 inch rims as standard. However, that doesn’t take away the bold presence of the H6, props to the design team for that. The H6 1.5t is a crossover target towards buyers looking to buy a premium midsize crossover and hence, the H6 comes packed with all modern features expected to be found in one. Getting inside the brilliantly specced redwine themed top tier H6, one will find a set of second row AC outlet with dual zone climate control, an elongated 0.25 inch infotainment system at the center of the dash which supporting wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360 view camera, leather steering wheel as standard and soft touch material all around.
It is not only the ‘looks and feels’ department which the H6 has been able to brilliantly master. Infact, like other premium crossovers priced comparatively higher, the H6 comes with a plethora of safety features including collision warning in the front and the rear, traffic jam assistance, lane department warning, lane change assist, roll movement intervention, hill descent control, adaptive cruise control and many more.
Price starts at 36.50 lacs for the base package of the H6 1.5 Turbo and can vary based on the different trim packages and the 7 different exterior color options available for the H6 to choose from. All H6 1.5 turbo sold by Ace Autos will fall under Haval’s official warranty of either 3 years or 60,000km, whichever comes first.
