Mazda 3

According to Barbeyto, the most powerful variant of the Japanese brand’s compact model is to have a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder under its hood. It’s not an engine unfamiliar to Mazda, as a turbocharged 2.5-liter unit is already available in models such as the CX-5 and CX-9 crossover SUVs, as well as the 6 sedan. Much like those Mazdas, the 3’s new turbocharged 4cylinder packs 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. But more interestingly, the engine pairs exclusively an all-wheel drivetrain, opposed to the front-drive only Mazda 6. The Grand Touring and Signature trim levels are expected to be offered globally
