Q/A session

  1. What are fuel and oil?

Ans- Fuels are defined as any material that contains potential energy in the form of heat energy. Wherein, the heat energy from the material is used as or harnessed into mechanical energy through an engine. for example diesel, Petrol, and octane. Oil is defined as any neutral, nonpolar chemical substance, which is a viscous liquid at ambient temperatures. But here, the oil is used and referred to as crude oil; it is called unrefined oil or petroleum. Like lubricants, engine oil.

  1. What is mounting?

Ans- it’s also known as an engine mount. An engine mount is a part that holds the engine in your car. In most cars, an engine and transmission are bolted together and held in place by three or four mounts. The mount that holds the transmission is called the transmission mount, others are referred to as engine mounts. One part of the engine mount is bolted to the car body or frame. Another part holds the engine. An engine is a source of vibration, as it has many moving and rotating parts. The job of an engine mount is not only to hold the engine in place but to reduce the engine vibration felt inside the car. Engine mounts are made with a rubber material so that there is no direct metal-to-metal contact between the engine and the car body. Transmission mount, Toyota Camry. 1. How Long Should a Set of Tires Last?

Ans- It may be tentative, but tires do have an expiration date. There is a general consensus that most tires should be inspected, if not replaced, at about six years and should absolutely be swapped out after 10 years, regardless of how much tread they have left. So before you buy a new set of tires you need to check the manufacturing date and expiry date. Because if the tire stays in the shop for 5 years after manufacturing then it will last only for more than 4 or 5 years.

  1. How Often Should I Change my Radiator Coolant?

Ans- You should periodically change the radiator fluid in your vehicle to help your car’s cooling system function at its best. Over time, dirt and other contaminants can build up in the fluid, or it may become acidic. When this occurs, the radiator fluid is much less effective and should be changed.

Most car manufacturers recommend that you change the radiator fluid in your vehicle every 24,000 to 36,000 miles or every 24 to 36 months. However, your personal driving habits will also determine the frequency of needed radiator fluid changes. If you drive your vehicle in extreme extremely hot temperatures often, you may want to consider changing the fluid once a year or every 12,000 to 15,000 miles.
