Cadillac Lyriq Is Set For Debut on August 6th

Currently, details about the vehicle is very limited, but it is confirmed that the Lyriq will use GM’s Ultium battery technology. The scalable system will offer capacities from 50.0 kWh to an enormous 200.0 kWh. The Lyriq’s battery pack is expected to fall somewhere near 100.0 kWh.GM stated during its Ultium battery announcement in March that its partnership with LG Chem would result in cheaper batteries. This could eventually bring the cost of an electric vehicle on par with that of a gas-powered equivalent vehicle. However, we do not know if that will happen before the launch of the new luxury SUV.  The Lyriq is expected to have a price tag of 75,000 dollars.
