The TRX will be a step-up from the current Ram 1500 in terms of both performance and offroad prowess. It is in essence the Hellcat pickup truck, going up in a head to head dogfight against the Ford F150 Raptor, and as such is aimed to be an offroad dominator. The concept sported a Hellcat 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 detuned to 575 horsepower. The production version, on the other hand, is expected to get two engine options: a naturally aspirated V8 with 520 hp, and a Hellcat engine tuned to 707 hp. Both versions will drive power to all 4 wheels through an 8 speed DCT transmission.
