The new PHEV Defender will be the most powerful version from all the variants offered as well as being the most efficient one. The 4×4 will be able to do 0-60mph in 5.4seconds thanks to the hybrid powertrain producing a combined 404hp. Unlike Defenders from previous generation you will also be able to daily drive this Defender without making a hole in your pocket. The hybrid powertrain will ensure an astonishing 85.3mpg with C. The 19.2kWh battery on the new PHEV Defender will offer a 27mile fully electric range and the P400e will be able to power all four wheels using only the battery. That means you can go off-roading without even turning on the engine! Even if you’re out of charge you can get 80% of the juice back with a 30minute change thanks to the 50kWh fast charger that will also be included with the car.
