As of now, the changes have been in 23 states across the U.S., with the company being limited to their access due to legislation. According to Electrify America, 78 percent of their consumers reside in the 23 states where the switch has been madeElectrify America says it’d be glad to make a nationwide switch to the new per kWh system, and is trying to figure out a way to commence while complying with the laws of each state. As of now, the prices remain consistent throughout all the states where the new system has been applied, although the company says they may switch to a regional pricing structure depending on market conditions.
