The 2021 Mercedes Benz S-Class won’t have coupe or cabriolet models

It is still unknown why Mercedes has taken such a decision and the automaker doesn’t want to make a comment it either. According to Mercedes, 2021 will be the final year for these two body styles and they have taken such a step only to further streamline the S-Class lineup. At the moment you’ll be able to get the current S-Class model- the S560 with both the cabriolet and coupe body styles being powered by a twin turbocharged 4.8litre V8 producing 463 horsepower while if you want the AMG models you can get either variant with a 603-horsepower twin turbocharged 4.0litre V8. You could even get twin turbo V12 variants few years ago for both the coupe and cabriolet models before Mercedes decided to stop putting V12 engines on their cars.
