Manufacturing of electric cars for the mass population have just started a few years ago and the struggle of the automakers show how hard it is to adopt to a new technology and to produce EVs in a large scale. It has always been proved to be difficult to produce EV cars but electrifying a classic car with a conventional fuel-based powertrain is surely taking the difficulties to a new level. But Twisted’s EV Land Rover Defenders seem promising! The Nas E can go up to 200miles before needing to be recharged. Twisted’s collaboration with Plower, a Dutch company helped them to develop these zero emission EV versions of the classic cars. Having $10million invested Twisted was able to buy 240 units of Land Rover Defenders that they worked on and successfully converted them to zero emission EVs.
