Despite being called the ‘baby Raptor’ by many, the Ranger Raptor isn’t small by any means. The wheelbase measures to be a whopping 3,220mm. Riding on specially developed 33-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres wrapped around massive 17-inch Dyno Grey Alloy Wheels and with a ground clearance of a whooping 283mm, 51mm more than the regular Ranger, one can surely tell with ease that it’s quite the opposite of ‘small’ in fact. This also takes up the Ranger Raptor’s water wading capacity to a class-leading 850mm.Other than that, this ‘Dinosaur-Themed’ Ranger Raptor, as Ford calls it, is also 150mm wider than its tamer variant thanks to the wide-reaching fender flares. A combination of all these, along with the huge grille at the front, surely increases the road presence of this mammoth-sized Ranger.
