According to Honda, this combo reduces unsprung weight by 18 pounds. 28.2 pounds of sound-deadening material was also removed by the manufacturer, essentially making the car louder.The 2.0litre turbocharged engine found in the regular Type R still powers the front wheels of this exclusive hatch, mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. So it should still produce the same 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, but the weight shavings gives the Limited Edition its edge.
