It was a long-time demand to draw out the capacity limit and allow motor vehicles up to 350cc. Back in the 2000s, there was a ban on bikes over 150cc; technically there were no restrictions before that. Before policymakers’ response, the limit was 165cc. Now that they have finally fueled up the procedure to extend the engine capacity limit – brought a ray of hope to the industry. The ministry of commerce is trying for amendments.According to The Daily Star, Rancon Motorbikes Limited, manufacturer of Japanese brand Suzuki, and Runner Automobiles said that they want the withdrawal of the existing CC (cubic-centimetre) limit. Runner said they have the approval to manufacture bikes up to 350cc and they have started to import 200cc bikes.
