THE RING THAT GIVES A SECOND LIFE: THE HALO.

When the Halo was first introduced, it was a ring made of purely titanium and it weighted round 6 kg and it could withstand a weight of “two double decker London buses” which is roughly about 20 tons. Later the halo was redesigned and the weight was increased to 9 kg of titanium. Since the Halo in general is a piece that generally disrupts the aerodynamics, engineers from different teams have the liberty to modify it by putting fins or other ornaments that could cancel out the halo when the car will be moving.
