The DFSK EC36 All new Multipurpose Electric Van

DFSK also known as DongfengSokon Co Ltd was born around 2004 from DFM (Dongfeng Motor Group). DFM, a Chinese automotive brand, and Sokon Group, an Indonesian automotive brand, with its core business of engines and new energy vehicles merged to form DFSK.

The DFSK C-Series is a range of mini trucks and microvans manufactured in a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Group and Chongqing Sokon Industry. The microvan models were first unveiled on September 21, 2009, whereas the mini truck models were launched later. The microvan is available in three different models, the C35 which is a cargo van, the C36 which is an entry-level passenger van, and the C37 as a passenger van.

The C36 represents the entry-level passenger van but the new EC36 is an all electric version. Having a  rear wheel drive drivetrain it has an electric motor that produces maximum power of 60kW and has a maximum torque of 200 Nm. This allows the van to reach speeds of around 100km/h while the battery can provide an range of 270 kilometers to 290 kilometers,

Dimension-wise the EC36 is 177 inches long and 66.1 inches wide with a curb weight of 1690kgs. Even though it sits in 17 inch wheels it should have enough ground clearance to run in the Dhaka streets. The standard vehicles come with a seating arrangement for seven people.
Charging the DFSK EC36 through a Wallbox sized to the onboard charger will take approximately 15 hours, while charging at a fast-charging station can reload the battery from empty to 80% in 150 minutes.
The EC36 is available in all DFSK showrooms and to add a cherry on top it comes with a super warranty for 3 years or 100,000
