Suzuki Swift 

The Swift is a hot seller all over the world, and it’s pretty obvious why. The Swift is the perfect entry level hatchback that is also good-looking. It comes with a 1200cc 4-cylinder engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox ensures fuel mileage figures well above average, while the lightweight hatch gives you a great city driving experience. Toyota Aqua  

The Aqua is a subcompact full hybrid gasoline hatchback produced by Toyota. The Aqua’s engine is mated with a electric motor and it’s only available in front wheel drive. The car is powered by the automaker’s highly efficient hybrid system of 1.5 liter 73 HP four-cylinder inline engine, with synergy drive that is supported by a motor system with 0.9 kWh battery pack of 99 hp and is capable of going from 0- 100km/h in 10.7 seconds. The aqua interior might not be the most luxurious, but everything looks and feels durable and reasonable. The Aqua is considered as the most fuel-efficient car in Bangladesh and provides a mileage of around 35kmpl, but it may vary due to different driving styles. The estimated Price of a reconditioned Toyota Aqua is around 13-17 Lakh Taka depending on its auction grade and specifications.

Mazda 3 

The Mazda 3, also known as the Mazda Axela in Japan is a combination of power and performance. Manufactured in Japan by Mazda, it was introduced in 2003 with a performance-oriented version known as the Axela in Japan. One thing you can certainly say about the 2021 Mazda3 is that it’s handsome, in either body style. Mazdas have a graceful look about them, with flowing lines and an inimitable style. The base model comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is just average for the class, which is still frugal. It can reach 36 mpg on the highway and 31 mpg combined. Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, active lane control, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, and a driver-attention monitor.  In Bangladesh a Mazda 3 would cost you around 40-43 Lakh Taka.

Honda Jazz 

The Honda Jazz is one of the few hatchback options available in the market. Categorized under hatchback, the car is very spacious even if you compare it to many sedans in the market and gets a major bonus when compared to drive comfort. Under the hood, the Jazz hatchback is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that produces 89bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. This engine can be had with either a five-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed CVT option. Other amenities the premium hatchback from Honda has are soft touchpad dashboard, cruise control, auto AC with touchscreen control panel, multi information combimeter with LCD display and Eco Assist ambient rings. Toyota Auris

The second generation Toyota Auris had major changes compared to its previous model that the car offers a whole lot more, with sharper looks, extra equipment and better drive dynamics. Although it comes with a  1.5-litre 1NZ-FE engine it feels surprisingly punchy and fun to drive. MG3
