2021 Acura TLX sports sedan starts production

Both front- and all-wheel-drive versions are available. The high-performance Type S model, which will follow the 2.0T, is powered by a 355-hp turbocharged 3.0-litre V-6, which makes 65 horsepower more than the old TLX V-6. Both engines will be built at Acura’s Anna, Ohio, plant and will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.Prices for the TLX 2.0T can reach upward of $50,000 when fully loaded, and there are multiple trim levels available. A TLX with the Technology package starts at $42,525; the A-Spec model, which has a slightly more aggressive look and larger wheels, at $45,275; and the loaded Advance package model starts at $47,325.Acura has not yet given details on the TLX Type-S’s starting price—only that it’ll be in the low $50,000 range—or when it’ll go into production. The 2021 Acura TLX will arrive in dealers at the end of next month starting at $38,525.
