The manufacturer is working on electric versions of the 3-series, 5-series, 7-series, and X1, which we have known for some time now. But a recent report from UK magazine Car says that they may just be working on 750 and 1000hp models of the M5. The next generation of the 5 series is set to debut in 2023 with hybrid and electric models. The M5 will reportedly follow in 2024, using, once again, hybrid and electric platforms with 750hp and 1000hp respectively. The electric M5 will make use of three 335-hp electric motors, one driving the front wheels and two in the rear, pushing up to a 1000 horses to the wheels.
